BlackBerry announces two new devices with the BlackBerry Z3 and BlackBerry Q20

The name Blackberry may not ring out like it once did, but they are still a presence will a large fanbase. Those fans will be pleased to know that BlackBerry is at MWC 2014, and they’ve just shown off two new BlackBerry devices with the Z3 and Q20.

First up we have the BlackBerry Z3, the first device from the Foxconn partnership. The Z3 was known as the ‘Jakarta’ and is built for folks in Indonesia as the codename implies. It’s a 5-inch touchscreen device with a qHD display, a Snapdragon 400, 8GB of storage, and 1.5GB of RAM. The smartphone will rock Blackberry 10.2.1 out of the box and it has a 5MP snapper on the back to go along with a 1.1MP shooter on the front.blackberry z3

As for the BlackBerry Q20, it’s said to be a device BlackBerry fans will be all too familiar with as they’ve gone back to their ‘roots’ and brought back the physical QWERTY keyboard and trackpad. Little is known about the Q20 aside from the fact that it will have a 3.5-inch display and be in the vein of the old BlackBerry’s which means a premium build, reliability and durability according to BlackBerry.

While we don’t know much about the BlackBerry Q20, the company has said the device will be ready to go in the second half of this year. The Z3 on the other hand will be available in April for folks in Indonesia and is expected to sell for less than $200.
