Kingston Digital Ships Dual Interface USB Stick – DataTraveler microDuo – Ideal For Travellers

DataTraveler microDuo USB storage

I don’t travel that much, but when I do I like to go lightweight, taking as little kit as possible. This means I’m always on the lookout for devices that serve multiple purposes, and that’s something Kingston has recently delivered with its dual interface USB stick, the DataTraveler microDuo.

The device is a single storage unit with connectors for both USB and MicroUSB, meaning you can use it on laptops or tablets alike. This connectivity means it also useful if you want to transfer large files between these device types, without having to do it over a network or costly data connection.

The DataTraveler microDuo requires USB OTG support, meaning any Windows device and most Android 4.0 or greater devices.

Nadine Frost, EMEA Business Manager – Flash, Kingston said:

DT microDuo is a great companion device to mobile phones or tablets as it lets users back up files on the go thus freeing up space, or share files between devices with ease. Its sleek design has a built-in key loop and rotating cap, so it is small in size and big on storage. Travelers can take entire libraries of music or videos with them on trips without worrying about filling up the memory on their own device.

Available in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB sizes the DataTraveler microDuo costs between £5 and £13 with pricing for the 64GB to be confirmed. Its available from Kingston direct or other online retailers such as Amazon.
