LG G2 mini coming to the UK for £250 towards the end of April

Some people prefer large handsets while others would rather have something a little easier to pocket. Miniature versions of flagship devices have become extremely popular over the past year, and today we’ve learned that a somewhat smaller version of LG’s flagship is coming to the UK in the form of the LG G2 mini.

It’s a bit of a stretch to think of the LG G2 mini as diminutive as it sports a 4.7-inch display which is big, but still smaller than the G2’s 5.2-inch screen. Unfortunately the resolution takes a massive hit and drops to 540 x 960 which is a far cry from the FHD display on full-sized G2. It really doesn’t get much better from there.

Under the hood of the LG G2 mini you’ll find a quad-core 1.7GHz Cortex A-7 processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB via a MicroSD slot. Rounding things out are an 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera and a 2440mAh battery.

The LG G2 mini may not be the fastest phone on the block, but it will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box so at least it has something going for it considering the mediocre specs and price tag. Clove is the first UK retailer to list the LG G2 mini, and you can pick on up for £250 sometime later this month.
