Never burn the burgers again with the Lynx Smart Grill

Grills have come a long way since good old E.G. Kingsford produced  his first briquette, and while there are hundreds of types of grills to choose from, how many have you seen that can take voice commands? The Lynx Smart Grill can do that, and a whole lot more.

The Lynx is a smart grill that can cook food on command thanks to voice recognition technology and some crazy engineers. Cooking a steak or burger is done by simply tossing the meat on and answering a few questions, as the grill will tap into an online database to ensure your food is cooked to perfection. Seriously, it will even tell you where to place the food on the grill and if you forget to issue a command it can shut itself off.

As with any “smart” tech, the Lynx Smart Grill is connected, and you can connect to it through a smartphone app. The app will allow you to monitor the grill temperature along with the cooking time – you can even get notifications to let you know when it’s time to pull the food off the grill.lynx-smartgrill

It’s smart, but it doesn’t have robotic arms (yet) so you will have to flip food and actually put it on a plate. That’s a small price to pay for being able to sit back and relax while the food is on.

The Lynx Smart Grill is a something we could see sitting on a lot of patios, unfortunately it’s a concept prototype at the moment. That said, the company is looking to bring the brainy grill to market sometime next year, so you’re grilling dreams could become a reality soon.
