New Photo shows the Metal Clad Samsung Galaxy F

Samsung Galaxy F

Will it be called the Galaxy S5 Prime or the Samsung Galaxy F? That’s what is on a lot of people’s minds today after a new image surfaced on the web showing a device thought to be the mysterious Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime. Remember, it’s that device Samsung said didn’t exist…

The new picture comes from @evleaks, and shows a device called the Samsung Galaxy F. The picture looks to be a press render and shows a device with a metal casing – something Samsung fans have been clamoring for. You can also clearly see a camera that’s similar to the one on the S5 along with Sammy’s heart rate sensor.

Nothing new has been leaked with the specs, but many believe the Samsung Galaxy F will be Samsung’s 2K device. The processor could be a Snapdragon 801 or 805, and you’re probably looking at 3GB of RAM as well. Specs aside, we’re just glad to see that ugly back plate replaced by brushed metal.

As usual, you’ll want to take this and any other S5 Prime or Samsung Galaxy F rumors with a grain of salt. That said, @evleaks has always been reliable and we have no doubt there’s a metal clad version of the S5 in the works. It will be interesting to see if Samsung goes all out and adds the Snapdragon 805 and 2K display. We should find out this fall.
