The big feature of the new Galaxy Tab S series are the screens. Both tablets have Super AMOLED displays with resolutions of 2,560 x 1,600 – that’s higher than the retina iPad in case you were wondering.

You’ll be able to watch your videos and game out on a bright, crisp display and Samsung has even thrown in the fingerprint scanner from the S5 to boot – it supports 8 different users.

As for what’s under that vibrant display, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.1 will both have Exynos 5 Octa chips on the Wi-Fi models while the LTE version will get a Snapdragon clocked at 2.3Ghz.

The tablets will have plenty of memory with 3GB of RAM and you’ll be able to choose between 16 or 32GB of storage that’s expandable up to 128GB. The 8.4-inch model will have a 4,900mAh battery, and a 7,900mAh battery will provide the juice to the Galaxy Tab S

With the software, Samsung has added their magazine service “Papergarden” along with features like Multi User Mode, Quick Connect, and Call Forwarding. They’ve also teamed up with 30 content providers through their Galaxy Gifts program to offer free goodies from companies like Marvel, Google, National Geographic and others.galaxy tab S 10.5

The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and 10.5 will be available in titanium bronze or dazzling white. The Wi-Fi edition of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 will set you back $399 while the 10.5 will go for $499. Both will be available in the U.S. and Europe in July with LTE models to follow soon after.
