Droid Turbo leaks again, QHD display and Massive Battery Confirmed

Droid Turbo

Last week we told you about the Droid Turbo user manual leak, and since that time several other tidbits have come to light. Today, we got another big reveal thanks to some leaked marketing materials.

Marketing material is a great way to learn about a new device shortly before it’s released, and today’s gives us a better look at the handset. As you can see from the photo, the Droid Turbo is a sleek device, and the body is apparently made out of a scratch-proof “metallized glass fiber” of sorts. The rear will be reinforced with Kevlar, it’ll be waterproof and available in Black or Red with plenty of Verizon branding.

As for the specs, they confirm what we learned last week in regards to the 5.2-inch QHD display and 21MP rear camera. Throw in 3GB of RAM and a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805, and you’ve got yourself a device that can go up against anything out there. Last but not least, is the huge 3,900mAh battery which can pull 8 hours of usage from a 15-minute charge with Moto’s Turbo Charger. The report also says the handset will also have a wireless charging back and support Big Red’s XLTE network and VoLTE calling.

If you’re wondering when you can get the Droid Turbo, all will be revealed on October 28th when the handset is officially shown off. Verizon already has a countdown clock up and running, and you can expect some more cryptic tweets from the Droid Landing Twitter account as well.

Is the Droid Turbo beastly enough to make you give Verizon a shot?
