Microsoft has announced that it will be removing the space limits on OneDrive for any Office 365 subscribers – effectively giving them unlimited cloud storage.

An Office 365 subscription for Personal use (single license) starts at just £5.99/month and in addition to the now unlimited online storage gives you a single license for all Office applications (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote and even Access) on PC or Mac and a second license for tablets and 60 Skype World minutes per month. You can buy it even cheaper for just £48 from Amazon!

This has just blown Dropbox Pro out of the water! It gets even better if you move up to Office 365 Home where you get all of the above but your licesnes can be shared across 5 devices! So for £7.99 / month you can install upto 5 full versions of Office on a PC or Mac and 5 installations on a windows tablet or iPad. They don’t even need to be under your login – you can authorise your friends or family to use one of your licenses, they can then have their own login, and their own unlimited Dropbox storage allocation. This is simply unbelievable value..

The roll out will continue over the coming months, so if you want to be one of the very first to get more storage, go here to put yourself at the front of the line.

Chris Jones, corporate vice president, OneDrive & SharePoint said:

We’re thrilled to continue our quest of making OneDrive the world’s cloud storage leader – and, always a key part of the best productivity service with Office 365. We’re all in! Stay tuned for more exciting announcements over the coming months.
