The Meizu MX4 Pro goes global, international orders now open

Meizu Mx4 Pro

We’ve covered a couple numerous gadgets from China this year, and normally they aren’t that easy to obtain. One manufacturer has just made it simple to purchase their high-end handset as the Meizu MX4 Pro has just gone global.

Meizu is a brand name that folks in the East may not know at the moment. The company hopes to change that, and releasing the Meizu MX4Pro internationally is the first step in that direction. It’s not a cheaply made Chinese smartphone, and it has specs that can give some of the top-tier flagships a run for their money. It’s also affordable, as it will only set you back $549 unlocked.

The Meizu MX4Pro  is a larger handset with a 5.5-inch panel that carries a resolution of 2,560 x 1,536. Underneath that rather large slab of glass, you’ll find a Samusng Exynos 5430 octa-core chip and 3GB of RAM. If that weren’t enough, the device has a Sony IMX220 Exmor  20.7MP camera on its backside to go along with a 5MP snapper on the front. It also has a fingerprint scanner.

Unlike many smartphones from overseas, the Meizu MX4Pro is a single SIM device and it measures 150.1mm x 77mm x 8mm with a weight of 158grams. There are two options to choose from in the internal storage department, and it will be powered by a 3,350mAh battery. Last but not least, is the OS which will be a mix of Android 4.4 with some Flyme 4.0 on top.

At this time, the Meizu MX4Pro  is available to purchase from Oppomart and the 16GB model is the cheapest at only $549.99. The 32GB edition will set you back $599 and the only color option available at the moment is grey. If you’ve ever considering buying a Chinese handset, the Meizu MX4Pro is a great choice. It’s pricier than most, but is just as powerful as anything else around… and cheaper.

Would you like to see more smartphones like the Meizu MX4 Pro become available internationally?
