LG announces four new Android 5.0 smartphones

LG midrange lineup 2015

We’re all waiting for the big smartphone announcements next week, but LG has decided to get a jump on things. The company has unveiled not one, nor two, but four new smartphones before MWC, and all of them will come with Android 5.0 straight out of the box.

The LG G4 is what most folks are waiting to see, but while we wait, LG has dropped four new midrangers that are well worth a look. There are four different sizes to choose from, so we’re going to break out the bullet points and start with what should be the cheapest of the bunch…

As you can see from the specs, LG’s new 2015 midrange lineup is solid and should be affordable. The processor, RAM and storage capacity on some models will vary by region, but all four handsets will come loaded with the company’s software like Gesture Shot and Glance View. You’ll be able to choose between 3G or LTE variants as well – the style is said to stay the same aside from the back covers.

We’re not sure when the LG Magna, Spirit, Leon and Joy will arrive, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see them show up at MWC 2015. Stay tuned, and we’ll keep you in the loop on the pricing and availability of LG’s new smartphones.
