From the Far East: The Vivo Xshot 3S

Vivo is a manufacturer out of China that we haven’t touched on to much in the past, but they have a new handset that may be worth a look if you dig big sensors. It’s called the Vivo Xshot 3S, and new photos have just surfaced that show the smartphone from a couple of different angles.

As selfies have become more popular, smartphone manufacturers have started putting bigger sensors on the front. Vivo is joining the club with the Vivo Xshot 3S, as it has an 8MP snapper for selfies to go along with a large 16MP sensor on the back. It will also have a dedicated camera button on the side, and one would assume there will be plenty of photo-centric software as well.

Having large cameras is great, but you’ll need the horsepower to handle processing those pics. Thankfully, the Vivo Xshot 3S specs show one of the new 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processors and a whopping 4GB of RAM. It will handle whatever you throw at it, and hopefully it will have a large battery to power the 5.5-inch FHD display.

There are several things still up in the air in regards to the Vivo Xshot 3S specs, but the company should round things out nicely. We don’t have a release date or price at this time, but the phone is expected to be shown off next month.
