There are a lot of things you can plan around in life, including the weather. Smartphones can help you out in that department, but they are limited to a degree. That’s where a device like Mind Lab’s Weather Point can step in, as it allows you to carry a mini weatherman on your key ring.

Weather Point is a small and simple solution for folks that want to track the temperature wherever they roam. Actually, temperature is just one of the things Weather Point can track as the gadget has four sensors embedded in a sleek metal shell. As you can see from the photos, it looks pretty darned cool to boot.

Inside the Weather Point resides sensors that can check the temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, and UV radiation. The gadget plugs into your handset through the audio jack, and draws very little power so you won’t have to worry about killing your battery. As you’d expect, Weather Point works with an app which will thankfully support Android, iOS and Windows devices.

Weather Point will come in a wide variety of colors, and backers will have their choice of aluminum or titanium when it comes to the build. The price is nice as well considering you can snag one Weather Point for £15/$23 or £25/$39 if you want one in Titanium. This project has already met its goal, and the first units are set to ship out in July.
