Most of the big smartphones for the year are already out of the gate, but manufacturers still seem to have a few tricks up their sleeves. Asus pulled one out today with the Asus Pegasus 2 Plus, and we’re going to give you the scoop on the specs.

Asus has produced no shortage of phones over the years, and they’ve stayed pretty busy in 2015 as well. The Asus Pegasus 2 Plus isn’t their top model of the year, but it has more enough power and checks most of the boxes in the flagship department.

The Asus Pegasus 2 will sport a 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 and will get its power from a 64-bit Snapdragon 615 backed by 3GB of RAM. The storage capacity wasn’t listed, but the cameras are better than average as you’ll get a 13MP snapper on the back to go along with a large 8MP sensor for selfies. Rounding things out is Dual-SIM compatibility, a 3,030mAh battery, and Android 5.1.1.

Asus handsets have always been affordable, and while we don’t know the Asus Pegasus 2 price, we expect it to be affordable. That said, it appears this one is bound for China, India and other Dual-SIM regions, so it’s unlikely this particular model will arrive stateside or in similar regions.
